i am in love with the way you used features from a romanesque cathedral on this residential design. to me, its bleeds freedom and romance contradicting the modular basilican structure.
Sorry Anon, I don’t know a source for those chairs. I have sneaking suspicion that Ms Wearstler probably had them custom made based on a vintage design…maybe you could have them replicated rather than try and track them down?
Renee – I think my favorite detail is the cabinet in the living room, all those timbers together should not work, but it looks fantastic!
Hi Suzy She has just designed a new Botique Hotel in Vancouver. I must go this week and snap some photos. I also just got back from Palm Springs and visited the Viceroy and had a drink by the pool. I will post some pictures of that also and compare it to the one in Vancouver. Her style is very unique.
i was lucky enough to get to view the project boards (stunning) and an architectural model for this project last year. now i need to visit the property in person!
…and now I have an overwhelming desire to go to Mexico…
